Bug#245904: kicker: Crashes on APM resume

2004-04-26 Thread John Goerzen
Package: kicker
Version: 4:3.2.2-1
Severity: important

This seems to have started after a recent upgrade and I can find no
logical explanation for it.

I am running on an IBM Thinkpad T40p. The machine goes to sleep and
wakes up with no problems -- except kicker crashes immediately after it
wakes up. This behavior started recently and is 100% reproducible.

Bug#245951: kopete: AIM users not in contact list cannot be chatted with

2004-04-26 Thread Ralf Hildebrandt
Package: kopete
Version: 4:3.2.2-1
Severity: normal

So, I found this:

When people contact me via AIM for the first time, I do see their
messages, but I cannot answer to them. That is becuase the users are
shown as "offline" ALTHOUGH(!) they just sent me a message.

If I add them to my contacts, disconnect, connect again, THEN I can chat
with them.

When i (or startkde, for that matter) start artsd, it will start eating CPU
for no reason. 30-40% CPU on a athlon 2600+ ... other sound tools / programs
don't exhibit this behaviour, so the problem is with artsd itself.
