I haven't uploaded the new version with the group maintainance yet. Feel free to close the bugs wrt KDE orphan since they will all be uploaded under the group soon. As Rene says, testing is running. Also I think it's better to forget about the fact that some buildds aren't running; there may be bugs that require a new kdebase upload anyway, and you won't find out about those until it's uploaded. This is *really urgent*. It's been urgent for the last couple of months. Please, we cannot release in this condition and KDE is not something we can rush in at the last minute. Buildd status, testing status, all such external factors can be sorted out later. If you yourself have no time, then perhaps one of the other people forming the maintenance group can do it? -- Colin Watson [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Re: Bug#219148: kscreensaver authentification failure for kerberos5 auth.
tags 219148 + help reassign 219148 kdesktop thanks > Kscreensaver fails to authenticate users with ldap/kerberos5 when trying to > unlock the screen. /var/log/auth.log shows the following error messages: I'm not sure if this is a kerberos bug, a KDE bug or a bug with the woody KDE backports, and I don't have a system that I can readily test this problem on myself. I'm CCing this message to debian-qt-kde in case anyone there might have some ideas. I'm also reassigning this bug to kdesktop which AIUI handles the desktop locking and unlocking. Ben.
