Bug#431984: [hppa] ICE: verify_ssa failed (expected an SSA_NAME object in statement)

Can you still reproduce this bug? I cannot with gcc-snapshot
20070720-1 (the latest on hppa).

Bug#434852: Simply removed on alpha?

2007-08-27 Thread Helge Kreutzmann
Hello,
I read in
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?archive=no&bug=434852

   * Don't build the cacerts file on alpha (closes: #434852).

From the build log, I don't see any explanation given (except for the
initial failure). Will building return (i.e. is it only a temporary
measure)?

Greetings

Helge

Bug#439836: gdc-4.1: generates invalid assembler code

2007-08-27 Thread Peter De Wachter
Package: gdc-4.1
Version: 0.23-4.1.2-15
Severity: normal

gdc generates invalid assember code for the following fragment:

void foo (int i) {
  switch (i) {
case 1: {
  static int x = 1;
  break;
}
case 2: {
  static int x = 2;
  break;
}
  }
}

; gdc -c bug.d
/tmp/ccZr4AUJ.s: Assembler messages:
/tmp/ccZr4AUJ.s:13: Error: symbol `_D3bug3fooFiZv1xi' is already defined

You can work around it by giving the static variables different names.

Thanks for getting gdc in Debian.

gcc-defaults override disparity

2007-08-27 Thread Debian Installer
There are disparities between your recently accepted upload and the
override file for the following file(s):

g++-multilib_4.1.2-9_i386.deb: package says priority is optional, override says
standard.
gcc-multilib_4.1.2-9_i386.deb: package says priority is optional, override says
standard.
gfortran-multilib_4.2.1-4_i386.deb: package says priority is optional, override
says standard.
gobjc++-multilib_4.1.2-9_i386.deb: package says priority is optional, override
says standard.
gobjc-multilib_4.1.2-9_i386.deb: package says priority is optional, override
says standard.
gpc-doc_3.4.6-28_i386.deb: package says section is doc, override says devel.

Either the package or the override file is incorrect. If you think
the override is correct and the package wrong please fix the package
so that this disparity is fixed in the next upload. If you feel the
override is incorrect then please reply to this mail and explain why.

[NB: this is an automatically generated mail; if you replied to one
like it before and have not received a response yet, please ignore
this mail. Your reply needs to be processed by a human and will be in
due course, but until then the installer will send these automated
mails; sorry.]
