resetting forwarded addresses (Re: Processed: [bts-link] source package gcc-3.4)

2006-05-05 Thread Matthias Klose
Please STOP resetting the forwarded address and revert the changes you
already did. We do loose information in the upstream BTS: it becomes
more tedious to track the reverse direction (upstream -> Debian),
unless you add information to the upstream bug report as well.
I.e. you have to search now _every_ duplicate report to find the one
which was reported in Debian. That's insane when a report has a large
number of duplicates.

I don't mind adding information to the BTS, but removing information
from it is just insane.

Thanks, Matthias

thanks

Make libgnatvsn4.1 and libgnatprj4.1 priority optional, changed in
svn, needs changes in the override file.

Bug#366204: gcc-4.0: dangling symlinks

2006-05-05 Thread Florian Schlichting
Package: gcc-4.0
Version: 4.0.3-1
Severity: minor

gcc-4.0 puts three dangling symlinks on my system - is that meant to be
the case?

/bin/ls: /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.0.3/64/libstdc++.so: No such file or
directory
/bin/ls: /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.0.3/64/libgcc_s.so: No such file or
directory
/bin/ls: /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.0.3/libgcc_s_64.so: No such file or
directory

Also, now-purged gcc-3.3 and gcc-3.4 have left the following two symlinks:
/bin/ls: /usr/share/modass/gcc-3.4/gcc: No such file or directory
/bin/ls: /usr/share/modass/gcc-3.3/gcc: No such file or directory

this is tigercron's output and I hope I'm not wrong in assuming that
none of this should be there?

best,
Florian
