you are sure you tested with g77-3.4_3.4.2-2 (which isn't yet in the
archives for sparc)?

When trying to install gcc-3.4 I get the following response:

morannon:~# apt-get install gcc-3.4
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  gcc-3.4: Depends: libgcc1 (>= 1:3.4.2-2) but 1:3.3.4-2 is to be installed
   Depends: cpp-3.4 (>= 3.4.2-2) but 3.4.1-2 is to be installed
   Depends: binutils (>= 2.15) but 2.14.90.0.7-8 is to be installed
E: Broken packages

Since apt-get is suggesting me to report this, here it is.

Hi,

the following code doesn't compile. It's related to my BR #233548

int main()

d = 1;
}
dummy->foo();
 }
 }

 return 0;
}

Bug#268581: reassigned to libgtk2.0-0

2004-09-09 Thread =?iso-8859-1?Q?Martin-=C9ric_Racine?=
reassign 268581 libgtk2.0-0
thanks

I just found an other application that displays the same symptoms, whenever
using the File Chooser: eog. I very seldom use it, so I only noticed this today.

Unfortunately, libgtk2.0-0 version 2.4.9 has already trickled down to Testing,
which means that reverting to an earlier version on time for Sarge won't be a
simple task... *sigh*
