This could be opened via menu (even if I admit that this > makes not much sense). Sorry to interrupt your speculations about a gnuplot menu-entry but it's been in the package for ages (about 1997)... Yes, opening a xterm with the gnuplot commandline inside is a bit strange but nobody ever complained and at least it can be found that way. IMHO the menu is more a way of showing the user which programs are installed on the machine, thus the entry makes (at least a bit of) sense. Bug#158610: ITP: pvm++ -- A C++-library for PVM
Package: wnpp Version: N/A; reported 2002-08-28 Severity: wishlist * Package name: pvm++ Version : 0.6.0 Upstream Author : Sebastian Wilhelmi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://pvm-plus-plus.sourceforge.net/ * License : LGPL Description : A C++-library for PVM Description: A C++ library for PVM This library provides an easy way to program the widely used parallel programming library PVM, which works in homogenous and heterogenous network environments. Objections? Better versions are welcome. The packaging will be done by Nick Kepper <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> who's using pvm++ for his PhD thesis, I'll sponsor him. There'll be two binary packages libpvm++1 and libpvm++1-dev reflecting the SONAME-version. Don't expect an upload before the g++ 3.2 transition plans are finished. What is the problem? Did I miss something? If there is any problem with masqmail itself, I'll let the upstream author package a new version which I'll sponsor (he wants to maintain his program). Intent to hijack: gnuchess
Hello, I'm going to hijack the gnuchess package. Well, actually I'm going to sponsor an upstream author (Lukas Geyer) with it. He has already created the two packages (gnuchess and gnuchess-book), there are only a few things that have to be resolved until we upload the package. The last two gnuchess uploads were NMUs the maintainer of gnuchess Martin Mitchell never responded on. He also didn't object the recent thread on this list about gnuchess, nor did he answer the mails of Lukas and me. I already told him that I want to take over the package. Speak now or hold your peace forever :) CU Thimo -- Thimo Neubauer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 frozen! See http://www.debian.org/ for details pgp6ikaQuX1w2.pgp Description: PGP signature
Swedish maintainers?
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hi, I am a german physics-student right now studying in Uppsala, Sweden. Really soon I want to register as a new Debian-maintainer and take over some orphaned packages (bibindex, xbattle, p2c?) to help to reach the goal of a completely maintained distribution. Now I wonder if there is any maintainer somewhere in the Uppsala/Stockholm region who can authenticate me?
