  Description : A program based on karamba improving the eyecandy of KDE

SuperKaramba is a tool based on karamba that allows anyone to easily
create and run little interactive widgets on a KDE desktop. Widgets are
defined in a simple text file and can be augmented with Python code to
make them interactive.

Here are just some examples of the things that can be done:

 * Display system information such as CPU Usage, MP3 playing, etc.
 * Create cool custom toolbars that work any way imaginable.
 * Create little games or virtual pets that live on your desktop.
 * Display information from the internet, such as weather and
 * headlines.

kbiff.mo should be removed from kde-i18n-*

2002-04-22 Thread Jean-Michel Kelbert
Hi,

I made a package from kbiff : a mail notification utility.
The source code include locales files : kbiff.mo
However this file is also in kde-i18n-*. Then when I tried to installed
the package I made, dpkg stop because it tried to overwrite kbiff.mo
from kde-i18n-fr.
I asked the upstream author to know why he provide this files, here is
his answer :

"The file in kde-i18n is old. KBiff *used* to be included in kdenetwork
a long time ago and there was some translations in kde-i18n as a result.
When I removed KBiff from kdenetwork, those .mo files were never
removed."

So to my mind kbiff.mo should be removed from kde-i18n-* package, isn't
it ?

Thanks

Bug#843699: ITP: opensvc -- Tools to drive OpenSVC services

2016-11-08 Thread Jean-Michel Kelbert
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: "Jean-Michel Kelbert"

* Package name: opensvc
  Version : 1.8
  Upstream Author : Christophe Varoqui
* URL : http://www.opensvc.com
* License : GPL
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : Tools to drive OpenSVC services

OpenSVC is a 'service' manager, as in clustered service manager,
designed for real-world heterogeneous datacenters and large-scale
operations orchestrator (disaster recovery, for example).

Services are collections of resources (virtual machine, ip, disk
groups, filesystems, file synchronizations, and application
launchers).

Services can be started, stopped and queried for status,
providing a consistent command set for wildly different
service integration types.

Service configurations, status and logs are pushed to a
central database coupled to a web front-end (collector).

Services can be administered using the stand-alone
GPLv2 software stack deployed on the nodes
(nodeware), or through the web-front end.
