dpatch would be a build-dep, so that would be redundant. And if that
isn't enough, most people should be bright enough to figure it out once
you start telling them to look at /usr/share/doc/dpatch/... ;)

Yes, I think it would be better to just have the README.source tell
people to look at /usr/share/doc/dpatch/... This way, it's easy to add
any additional information that you might want to have.

Fixed in t-p-u. Waiting to be built (for about a month!) on m68k,
before in can migrate. (Which is kind of silly, since the bug shouldn't
even affect m68k.)

Maybe you want to make this into a lintian test?

This package only contains data files (makefile snippets, shell scripts,
etc.), but the contents of the data files vary depending on what
architecture it was built on, since it needs to control building for the
right environment.

Bug#714799: RFA: windows-el -- window manager for GNU Emacs

2013-07-02 Thread Hubert Chathi
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I no longer use this package, so I am requesting an adopter for it.

I've just made an upload to fix all open bugs.

The package description is:
windows.el allows you to switch between window configurations in emacs,
providing behaviour similar to virtual desktops that is common in several
window managers. In addition, you can save window configurations to a file
and restore them at a later time.

ANN: whalebuilder - Debian package builder using Docker

2015-03-31 Thread Hubert Chathi
I've whipped up a quick script that uses Docker images to build Debian
packages. It's basically the same idea as pbuilder/cowbuilder (and was
inspired by them), but using Docker.

It's in pretty rough shape still and there's a lot of stuff to do still
(and lots to learn about Docker and Ruby), but it should be functional
-- at least enough for other people to bang on it.

screen objects, by setting their values as the tween starting point and
then, after each tween step, plugging back the result.
