Bug#737273: ITP: libepoxy -- a library for handling OpenGL function pointer management for you.

2014-01-31 Thread Eric Anholt
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Eric Anholt

* Package name: libepoxy
  Version : 1.0
  Upstream Author : Eric Anholt
* URL : https://github.com/anholt/libepoxy
* License : MIT/X
  Programming Lang: C, Python
  Description : a library for handling OpenGL function pointer management
for you.

I am the upstream developer and the aspiring debian packager. The 1.16 X
Server is probably going to depend on this library, as well as the piglit GL
testing suite (which is mostly run by Mesa developers working on either debian
or ubuntu) once my patch series lands. So, while we have no software depending
on it at the moment, I'd like to make it easier for people when the time comes.

My plan is to host the debian packaging on a branch of the upstream repo
(github).
