Bug#1079769: ITP: python-farama-notifications -- Notifications for all Farama Foundation maintained libraries
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Dong Xu X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-devel@lists.debian.org * Package name: python-farama-notifications Version : 0.0.4 Upstream Contact: Jordan Terry * URL : https://github.com/Farama-Foundation/Farama-Notifications * License : MIT Programming Lang: Python Description : Notifications for all Farama Foundation maintained libraries This package allows for providing notifications on import to all Farama Packages. Actually this is a dependency of python package gymnasium and stable-baselines3, which are important libraries for deep reinforcement learning and I use them daily. Deep reinforcement learning is an important tech powered many important things like AlphaGo, AlphaFold. Gaming agents in video games like Dota 2 are usually powered by deep reinforcement too. As far as I know, libraries linked with machine learning is still rare in debian repo, thus I want to package them to debian. I will maintain this package by myself in the future. By the way, I intend to join python team later, I may maitain this package with other members from python team then. And I need sponsor if you can help. Thank you.
Bug#1103053: ITP: ananta -- Ananta is a powerful command-line tool designed to simplify simultaneous SSH command execution across multiple remote hosts.
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Dong Xu X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-devel@lists.debian.org * Package name: ananta * URL : https://sr.ht/~cwt/ananta/ * License : MIT Programming Lang: Python Description : Ananta is a powerful command-line tool designed to simplify simultaneous SSH command execution across multiple remote hosts. nanta is a powerful command-line tool designed to simplify simultaneous SSH command execution across multiple remote hosts. It enhances workflows, automates repetitive tasks, and improves efficiency for system administrators and developers managing distributed systems. I am a newcomer to Debian packaging, and Ananta is first python package I am trying to prepare. I chose this project because it is small, well-structured, has minimal dependencies, and serves a clear purpose — which makes it ideal for learning how Debian packaging works. I also use this tool personally to manage multiple remote servers, and I find it helpful for simple command execution tasks over SSH. I plan to maintain this package under the Debian Python Team. As I am still learning, I may need a sponsor to help with the initial upload. I also welcome any feedback or guidance from the community as I go through this process. -- Dong Xu xdong...@gmail.com
