A simple GUI tool to manage updates and upgrades on Debian systems with ease.
Ideal for newcomers to Debian, it offers a user-friendly interface for
performing system updates,
package installations, and removals.
Features include managing essential and non-essential packages, as well as
system upgrades.
Users can also install any package they wish.

I am looking for a sponsor with expertise in Python packaging for Debian.

Linux OS updater is used to help the updating process for most of the popular
distros. It works on Debian and Debian
based distros. It uses python to check the current OS version and update it
according to the steps provided by the
distributor/creator. It also uses bash to provide the main binary script, then
detects the OS type and downloads
the according python file with cURL.

Re: Bug#1101376: ITP: package-assembler -- CLI tool to create necessary files for a Debian package

Hi,
Yes, I have looked into the 'dh-make' tool. From what I've seen, it
generated too many files that were not needed to compile the program.
'dh-make', for me, also left a lot of fields that needed to be manually
edited later on. My tool takes in user input a bit more than 'dh-make', so
it can write those fields that normally would have to be manually edited.

Hello,
I am sorry if this was said earlier and I did not catch it,
but I cannot find the reasoning behind the closure of this ITP.
Can someone tell me just a bit more about that?
Again, I am sorry if this was already mentioned

Thanks!
