Bug#458146: ITP: tilecache -- A web map tile caching system
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Christopher Schmidt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * Package name: tilecache Version : 2.01 Upstream Author : Christopher Schmidt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://tilecache.org.org/ * License : BSD Programming Lang: Python Description : A web map tile caching system TileCache is an implementation of a WMS-C compliant server made available by MetaCarta. TileCache provides a Python-based WMS/TMS server, with pluggable caching mechanisms and rendering backends. In the simplest use case, TileCache requires only write access to a disk, the ability to run Python CGI scripts, and a WMS you want to be cached. With these resources, you can create your own local disk-based cache of any WMS server, and use the result in any WMS-C supporting client, like OpenLayers, or any TMS supporting client, like OpenLayers and worldKit. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#458424: ITP: featureserver -- A simple RESTful geographic feature web service.
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Christopher Schmidt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * Package name: featureserver Version : 1.11 Upstream Author : Christopher Schmidt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://featureserver.org/ * License : "Clear" BSD, http://labs.metacarta.com/license-explanation.html Programming Lang: Python Description : A simple RESTful geographic feature web service. FeatureServer is a pure-Python implementation of a RESTful Geographic Feature Service. Using standard HTTP methods, onecan fetch a representation of a feature or a collection of features, add new data to the service, or delete data from the service. Use it as an aggregator -- post your GeoRSS feeds to it, and then browse them using WFS. Use it as a translator: use the OGR DataSource to load a shapefile and open it in Google Earth. Supports connecting to PostGIS and sqlite databases, any OGR datasource, as well as a lightweight internal format with no external dependancies. (Version 1.11 isn't quite released yet -- I intend to release it after ensuring that there are no upstream changes neccesary to make debian packaging easier, since I am upstream as well.) -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#458608: ITP: python-memcached -- pure python memcached client
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Christopher Schmidt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * Package name: python-memcached Version : 1.40 Upstream Author : Sean Reifschneider <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://www.tummy.com/Community/software/python-memcached/ * License : Python License Programming Lang: Python Description : pure python memcached client This software is a 100% Python interface to the memcached memory cache daemon. It is the client side software which allows storing values in one or more, possibly remote, memcached servers. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#459699: ITP: sdlroads -- SDL-based recreation of classic plane-jump game
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Christopher Schmidt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * Package name: sdlroads Version : 0.10 Upstream Author : Peter Newman * URL : http://sourceforge.net/projects/sdlroads/ * License : GPL Programming Lang: C Description : SDL-based recreation of classic plane-jump game This game is a recreation of the Bluemoon classic, Skyroads. The game allows you to control a small spaceship, which you must jump from plane to plane to reach the end of the level without falling off the edges or into any gaps. I'm working with the upstream author to clean up the source code, and the project Homepage may change as a result of this. The code has been largely untouched for several years, but it has been used occasionally in that time period with no known bugs. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
