Bug#697671: RFP: libwebsockets -- C Websockets Server Library
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: libwebsockets Version : 0.5+git Upstream Author : Andy Green * URL : http://git.warmcat.com/cgi-bin/cgit/libwebsockets * License : LGPL-1.2 Programming Lang: C Description : C Websockets Server Library This is a C implementation of the websockets protocol: http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6455 I don't want to package this library myself but I might be able to sponsor it if someone is volunteering to do it. I'm thus ccing debian-mentors and debian-devel in the hope to find someone interested to package it. Note: there's also a fork at https://github.com/davidgaleano/libwebsockets I don't know which version should be best packaged. I favor the original one unless we find good reasons to use the other one. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-devel-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Is this field is strictly necessary for uploads ? Recommended should fit: it's currently not required, but useful. dpkg also adds it by default. dak might also use it in the future to check that packages built only binaries listed there. I don't think the description for the Package-List field should document the valid package types. There's already a Package-Type field for that (defaults to deb and only seems to be used in d/control in the source package). Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Joenio Costa * Package name: libmojolicious-plugin-authorization-perl Version : 1.0301 Upstream Author : John Scoles * URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/Mojolicious-Plugin-Authorization/ * License : Perl Programming Lang: Perl Description : module to make authorization a bit easier for Mojolicious A very simple API implementation of role-based access control (RBAC). This plugin is only an API you will have to do all the work of setting up your roles and privileges and then provide four subs that are used by the plugin. The plugin expects that the current session will be used to get the role its privileges. It also assumes that you have already been authenticated and your role set. That is about it you are free to implement any system you like. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-devel-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
