Currently, you can: . * hook an upper scope end with "reap"; * localize variables, array/hash values or deletions of elements in higher contexts with respectively "localize", "localize_elem" and "localize_delete"; * return values immediately to an upper level with "unwind", and know which context was in use then with "want_at". Scope::Upper is needed by the new Catatlyst release and will be maintained withing within the Debian Perl Group. -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAknrBxAACgkQOzKYnQDzz+RxxwCghZYj2i/zgi6b3QqhttifKYQl yRoAoNDUKo1Mz/abCIYq/S2neir6GobF =1+LT -END PGP SIGNATURE- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-devel-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#524713: ITP: libmoosex-types-perl -- organise Moose types in libraries
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Ansgar Burchardt * Package name: libmoosex-types-perl Version : 0.10 Upstream Author : Robert "phaylon" Sedlacek * URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/MooseX-Types/ * License : GPL-1+ | Artistic (like perl) Programming Lang: Perl Description : organise Moose types in libraries The types provided with Moose are by design global. The MooseX::Types module helps you to organise and selectively import your own and the built-in types in libraries. As a nice side effect, it catches typos at compile-time too. . However, the main reason for this module is to provide an easy way to not have conflicts with your type names, since the internal fully qualified names of the types will be prefixed with the library's name. . MooseX::Types will also provide you with some helper functions to make it easier to use Moose types in your code. This module is required by libmoosex-methodattributes-perl (ITP will follow soon). Supporting apache 1.3 in gsoap or not?
Dear all, I working on gsoap package to update it to 2.7.13 and close some bugs. lintian warns me about the use of old libtools in the module for apache 1.3. Upstream developer told me it is abandoned and suggested me to delete it from the package. What do you suggest to do? Maybe I'm missing the obvious here, but there is no more apache 1.x package in unstable (or even stable), so why would you want to keep support for apache 1.3? Nick Leverton (19/04/2009): > This is really an ITA for the existing unicorn and unicorn-source > packages which were somewhat precipitately removed from Debian two > weeks ago. Well, I don't call that “precipitately”: | Please remove unicorn: | - mostly unused (2 in popcon for the binary package unicorn) | - unmaintained (last upload from a year ago) | - doesn't build with Lenny kernel | - not in Lenny | - depends on legacy libs (GTK 1.2), which will be removed soon | - lacks support for important archs like amd64 (#306322) RoQA was end of january, fixed 2 months later. I don't call that “precipitated”. And those reasons look quite good to me… > * Package name: unicorn > Version : 0.9.3 > Upstream Author : Frode Isaksen > * URL : http://www.bewan.com > * License : GPL and Proprietary ^^^ What the hell? Is Ayman Negm MIA?
Ayman Negm is the maintainer of, among others, the gddrescue package. The package hasn't been touched by him since 2006, and several bugs about it have required NMUs by other people. Several people have volunteered to take it over if he's AWOL, and I'll throw my name in the pile as well...but again, only if he's gone. :) - Rich -- The difference between this place and yogurt is that yogurt has a live culture. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-devel-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
