Bug#337464: libcamel1.2-0: evolution mail component didn't start (missing link: libcamel-provider-1.2.so.3)

2005-11-04 Thread Viktor Abrams
Package: libcamel1.2-0
Version: 1.4.1-1
Severity: normal
Tags: experimental

I don't know if this is a bug which will be fixed with the new evolution
package from experimental. But evolution is not installable from
experimental because of missing package: libgal-common (>= 2.5.3) so I
could not test it.

libcamel-provider-1.2.so.3 -> libcamel-provider-1.2.so.6.0.3

Thanks for your very good work. I'm using the pilot-link package from

Could you tell me, why this package doesn't contained the python binding

Bug#306238: missing dependency to libgtksourceview1.0-0 (>= 1.2.0)

2005-04-25 Thread viktor . abrams

Package: gedit
Version: 2.10.2-1

starting gedit in terminal produce the following warning:

(gedit:12370): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: IA__g_object_set_valist: object
class `GtkSourceView' has no property named `highlight_current_line'

upgrading libgtksourceview1.0-0 from version 1.1.1-1 to 1.2.0-1 fix
that.

regards,

Viktor Abrams.

Bug#306238: Re-2: Bug#306238: missing dependency to libgtksourceview1.0-0 (>= 1.2.0)

2005-04-25 Thread viktor . abrams
Hi,

i've installed debian/sarge in the middle of last year. Later I make a partial
upgrade to gnome 2.8 maybe also from the experimental tree. There were no
dependency upgrades when gedit moves to unstable/testing. So i assume i got
libgtksourceview1.0.-1 (1.1.1-1) also from experimental.

What do you mean with "(Please tag bugs reported against packages in
experimental as such.)" ?
What tag is necesarry, so that I can write my reports correctly cause I always
install gnome if it is avalible in experimental to help with bug reporting.

Thanks for working on gnome-debian-packages. They have allways an excellent
quality, so that it is difficult for me to find residual bugs :).

Regards,

abrams.

Hi,

you are right, for people who have made an upgrade to sarge this never cares.
Only for people like me who only make partial upgrades in regular intervals
this is a little flaw. The destiny of "version junkies" :).

When I start anjuta and load a sourcefile all text is place in very confusing

additional explanation.

Sorry I didn't find out how to solve.

Bug#298528: wrong debconf key settings - keyboard variant/options - in german locale mode

2005-03-08 Thread viktor . abrams

Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10

wrong debconf key settings:

If I install xserver-xfree86 first time, the
autoconfigure-script, running in german locale mode, sets the following two
debconf variables correct:
xserver-xfree86/config/inputdevice/keyboard/layout: de
xserver-xfree86/config/inputdevice/keyboard/model: pc105

But "nodeadkeys" must be the value of "variant" not of "options". Have
to be like shown here:
xserver-xfree86/config/inputdevice/keyboard/options:xserver-xfree86/config/inputdevice/keyboard/variant:
nodeadkeys
Thank you for fixing that.

Bug#411470: amanda-common: amfetchdump segmentation fault

2007-02-19 Thread Viktor Abrams
Package: amanda-common
Version: 1:2.5.1p1-2.1
Severity: normal

Hi,

amfetchdump terminates with a "segmentation fault":

segmentation fault

I use the splitsize options in amanda.conf i.e.:
tape_splitsize 512M
fallback_splitsize 512M

I've applied this patch and it solves the problem:
http://www.arcknowledge.com/gmane.comp.archivers.amanda.devel/2006-11/msg00018.html

Could you please integrate it, if you plan a package upload next time.

Thanks in advanced

Bug#359853: libgtk2.0-bin: missing dependencies to libglib2.0-0 >= 2.10.1-2 and possibly to librsvg2-common >= 2.12.7-5+b1

2006-03-29 Thread Viktor Abrams
Package: libgtk2.0-bin
Version: 2.8.16-1
Severity: normal

I've got the following message while configuring libgtk2.0-bin:
Richte libgtk2.0-bin ein (2.8.16-1) ...

Updating the gdk-pixbuf loaders list for GTK+-2.4.0...g_module_open()

/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/loaders/svg_loader.so: undefined symbol:

done.

upgrading to librsvg2-common from unstable solves that.
I don't know where to place the dependency to librsvg2-common but if
librsvg2-common is installed the svg-loader cause an error.

Furthermore I've got sporadically the following error:
Gtk-ERROR **: this version of Gtk+ requires GLib-2.10.1

upgrading to libglib2.0-0 from unstable eliminates that error.

that seems to be a little bit stange cause I had installed different
versions of the librsvg2* packages:
  librsvg2-common 2.8.1-3
  librsvg2-bin 2.8.1-3
  librsvg2-2 2.12.7-1

I've got this error when I tried to reconfigure a package by using the
gnome-frontend of debconf (libgnome2-perl)

Thank you for your excellent packaging of gnome,

Bug#1082365: zfsutils-linux: postinst doesn't contain the auto-generated part to enable the services

2024-09-20 Thread Viktor Abrams
Package: zfsutils-linux
Version: 2.2.6-1~bpo12+1
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: v.abr...@mittwald.de

Dear Maintainer,

in the previous version of the package <= 2.2.5 the postinst scripts contained
auto-generated part to enable the services i.e.

Is there a reason for this change or is it a bug?

Thank you very much for packaging!

Greetings
