Bug#598690: salome: Build failed->xversion.py module missing in site-package folder

2010-10-01 Thread thomas.dallapia...@bluewin.ch
Package: salome
Version: 5.1.3-11
Severity: important

Hi,
While building salome XDATA, I have the following error:

File "/home/thomas/sdeb/salome/build-salome/XDATA_SRC_5.1.3/lib/python2.6/site-
packages/xdata/xdata.py", line 36, in

from xversion import version
ImportError: No module named xversion

In the configuration step, the file
xversion.py is created in ./build-
salome/XDATA_SRC_5.1.3/src/XDATA/ with this line:

config.status: creating
src/XDATA/xversion.py

But xversion.py should be copied to ./build-
salome/XDATA_SRC_5.1.3/lib/python2.6/site-
packages/xdata/

I manually copied the file in that place and the building of XDATA finished
successfully. So I assume
something is missing in the configuration step.

Kindest regards and thanks a lot for the great job.

Thomas

Bug#598696: salome: Install failed-> RANDOMIZER_SRC folder empty

2010-10-01 Thread thomas.dallapia...@bluewin.ch
Package: salome
Version: 5.1.3-11
Severity: normal

Hi,
installation step failed because of the following reason:

copy of ./devian/salome-
dev/usr/share/salome/RANDOMIZER_SRC/adm_local/unix/config_files/check_RANDOMIZER.m4
failed

because ./devian/salome-
dev/usr/share/salome/RANDOMIZER_SRC is empty.

I copied this file from the source folder (.

/RANDOMIZER_SRC_5.1.3
/adm_local/unix/config_files/check_RANDOMIZER.m4) manually and the install step
succeeded.

Something is porbably
missing in building step.

After this last issue, I was able to completely build the salome

packages for my
architecture.

Kindest regards,

Thomas

Bug#599052: libmedc-dev: med_exit_if.h missing?

2010-10-04 Thread thomas.dallapia...@bluewin.ch
Package: libmedc-dev
Version: 2.3.6-3
Severity: normal

Hi,
I'm trying to build an application to export OpenFOAM mesh
and results to MED data format. So I started with the tutorials present in the
doc. While trying to compile the first
example, I got the following error:
/usr/include/med_utils.h:22:25: error: med_exit_if.h: No such file or directory

I
checked in /usr/include and didnt find the file. I then checked the installed
files of the deb package and this heated
is not present in the pachage.
Is it voluntary that this file is not present in the deb package or has it been
forgotten?

Thanks and regards,

 Thomas
