Bug#565187: (no subject)
I just came across that deprecated message, too. Besides this bug report, Google found 940.000 results (2.770 when put in parentheses), so I guess some bytes of text leading the user to a solution (or simply stating what to use instead) would make life easier for a lot of people and additionally reduce the amount of support requests.
