Hi guys,
I wanted to subscribe to GNU/Hurd in GSOC2009, so I had some questions
about the "Allow Using unionfs Early at Boot
"
project.

first of all, what seems to be the obstacles?
How much do I have to know to work on this project?
If there are any documentations, can anyone tell me where to find them?

Thanks in advance,

Michael Behman.

Hi all.

I've been a lurker here for some time. I've tried to keep up with the
status of this project, but to me it's confusing.

Where are we on Hurd development?

No 64-bit kernel?
A working 32-bit kernel?
No VM extensions?

In theory, provided Linux apps use standard protocols for core function
calls, shouldn't all software work with hurd's kernel (if it's working
well)? Including drivers?

Where are we on hurd development?

- Rick

Hello

This might seem odd, but my curiosity was aroused during a conversation
yesterday. I was wondering if someone could tell me what development
lifecycle is used in the Hurd project. I thought perhaps the Waterfall
model might be a good choice for a microkernel system, but it doesn't look
like waterfall.

Sorry if this is a silly question
