[Bug gprof/7099] New: gprof documentation for linking with -lc_p is now misleading

It is written that one needs to compile using gcc and "-g -pg -lc_p". However,
now one should also add "-static-libgcc" or else their program will crash on
startup.

So the documentation should be fixed.

Building SRPMS/amarok-1.4.8-5.fc9.src.rpm on an x86_64 system running Fedora-10
ld fails with the messages:

/usr/bin/ld: BFD version 2.18.50.0.9-7.fc10 20080822 internal error, aborting at
reloc.c line 446 in bfd_get_reloc_size

/usr/bin/ld: Please report this bug.

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
