[Bug gas/6813] New: make tooldir=/usr gives errors
I tried to build binutils version 2.17 on a Linux system with an Athlon 2000MHz CPU. [Bug gold/5990] running out of file descriptors when linking >1024 files

As it is, I don't know how to address the problem. I've tested it by reducing the ulimit on my machine, and it worked as I expected when 10 file descriptors were available. I think that is a reasonable requirement.
