It is, but Rust/Go/Complicated Python projects lend them themself poorly to a
project intended for scripts.

Then someone would need to figure out how to stuff it into the contrib :)

Hi All,

I've introduced a new group "archlinux-tools" for arch-rebuild-order and
orhun will add it to arch-repro-status. I'm planning to add arch-signoff,
and ask Fox to add archlinux-contrib as well.

The idea is that Arch Linux related tools which benefit packaging get added
to the archlinux-tools group.

I'm confused though, wasn't the goal of -contrib to be exactly
this?

Well, the archlinux-contrib package contains a bunch of utilities which
aren't "big" enough to be a standalone project (or not yet).

So that's why they aren't packaged in -contrib.
