I have the same problem on kernel 2.6.27-4. My logitech STX cam (ID: 046d:08d7)
no longer works.
I'll dmesg tonight when I'm home.
So far, all I can say is it worked on intrepid with kernel 2.6.26-*, any
of you tried to reinstall gspca manually ?

Sure ! So far, it's been working fine and it sorted all acpi/apic
(etc...) issues allowing for a 'normal' and smooth kind of boot without
having to add any extra option. Thanks for your dedication, patience and
involvment.
