I'm using hardy 8.04 development branch.
Every time I launch a graphical app (say gvim or evolution, but also kde ones
like kpdf), it takes ages.
I launched them with strace and noticed that every time I launch an
application, it crawls my whole home directoty recursively. M

actually, it sometimes happens, sometimes not, and I can't tell when.
I'm sure it happened recently, after several reboots since the upgrade.
