nvidia-settings and nvidia-glx conflict, but nvidia-glx does indeed
exist. The nvidia-settings binary is now included in the nvidia-glx

Just confirming this. I don't know if this will be passed upstream or if
others will even consider this a bug, but it does seem inconsistent
that, say, the Wikipedia handler will pass the entire query, while the
dictionary will not. Although words with whitespace aren't all that
common, they exist.
I just realized how stupid that sounds. What I'm trying to say is,
dictionary queries that include whitespace aren't all that common as
dictionaries usually contain single-word "terms". Yet some valid terms,
like "Et Cetera," in a dictionary do contain whitespace.

The package builds cleanly and runs unmodified on Feisty.

Yes it does. Hover your mouse over a 1600x1200 PNG background in
Appearance. It reports 128x96.
