We're fixing this by backing out 611910. This bug is staying open for
investigation as the patch also landed on trunk (even though we haven't
been able to reproduce there).

That was a mass modify, sorry for the confusion.
This bug is indeed the one fixed in 3.6.15 by backing out bug 611910.
If you see this in 3.6.15 still, I want to know (but I'm pretty
confident you won't).
