This is actually as far as I know a bug in libid3tag library. It happens
if trying to tag a track with track number of over 9. Apparently it only
affects mp3s that are encoded with VBR. As such, the bug also affects
every other program using id3tag library.

efficient than the KDE plasma applet, however, i noticed that some icon

I'd also like to help with testing but unfortumately I lost my test
situation / problem. At least I have not been able to produce that
problem any more after the day I watched that folder using Jaunty
instead of Karmic. Strange and does not make sense for me.

finding buggy drivers', I'm still evaluating if this is beyond my
skills.

I hope the init script will be fixed to give some error message when
starting fails. Currently (I'm using v3.0.2) it fails without any
description of actual problem when "listen=YES" in /etc/vsftp.conf is
missing:

Tested with 4.8-rc8. It was possible to login after the resume and use
the GUI in offline mode for several minutes. Two observations: 1) Wifi
and networking are not available after resume, 2) Ubuntu hangs when
selecting "Shut down" from the menu.
Could this issue be related to the RT3290 wireless

That fixed my gparted 0.6.2 crashing problem at Ubuntu 10.10.

Just to follow up on this, we have since abandoned the use of POSIX
message queues altogether so this issue is no longer an ongoing concern
for us.
Still, the mq_overview(7) man page continues to refer to the outdated,
inaccurate queues_max hard limit (INT_MAX instead of 1024) at least as
of Ubunt
ul in this regard, by the way, in gaining a good overview and
understanding of all available forms of IPC.)
