When user trying to download attachments that are greater than 2MB, the
attachments get corrupted. I've changed php.ini and rebooted the server
but problem still remains. Is there a fix to this? Are there's any
attachment size setting in squirrelmail? I'm currently using 1.4.3a

I have looked under the display options and I do not
see a value to set how often SM polls for new mail.
Does one exist, is it instant, or do users have to
refresh their browser?
