When you report a problem, team members will need to be able to reproduce
it in order to find a solution. This means we'll need to know at least:
- What operating system you're using
- What `git status` says in the directory where you cloned the Servo
source code
- What versions of the
Radu,
It's not clear from your emails whether you're volunteering to take on the
project discussed earlier in the thread, or looking for one of a different
scope.
You can find a variety of small to medium Servo tasks listed at
https://starters.servo.org/ and a list of more major projects at

Radu,
I'd suggest looking at https://starters.servo.org/ and
https://github.com/servo/servo/wiki/Remaining-work to see whether any of
the tasks that we've already identified as needing contributors look like a
good fit for your skills, interests, and timeline.
If none of those tasks seem appropr
Lars and I are moving the Servo buildmaster from Linode to AWS this week.
I'll change the build.servo.org DNS around 9am PST on Wednesday 3/30. If
all DNS servers behave correctly, build.servo.org should be down for no
longer than 5 minutes. After the transition, logs from builds completed on

Everything's switched over and Homu is successfully building a PR in the
new configuration. I don't anticipate further interruptions to the build
process today. As always, please let me know if you see any unexpected
behavior from the system.

About 30 minutes from when you get this email, the current build will
finish and I'll roll out the Buildbot configuration refactor [1] that we
landed yesterday. Hopefully it'll go smoothly, but if there are problems,
Buildbot will be temporarily unavailable and Homu may start builds only to

And Buildbot thinks it's back up. Thank you again for your patience!

I'll be upgrading our Mac build slaves to OSX 10.11 this week.
This may slow down the queue, as there will be fewer machines in the
rotation as I take them out one by one to upgrade.
Lars and I aren't currently aware of any tests run by Homu which behave
differently on 10.10 and 10.11.If any resu
Good morning, superb Servo subscribers!
As you may recall, last week we were having some issues with OSX build
times due to insufficient capacity. Since then, I've deployed 6 more Mac
Minis to our BuildBot roster (we previously only had macs 2-4 building) and
decommissioned the now-unneeded Mac Pr
Good afternoon spectacular Servo-ists,
If you use GitHub's OAuth features to interact with the Servo

Thanks for your patience as we make the organization more secure!

Last week I attended and spoke about Servo's automation at GitHub Universe,
which as the name implies is our code hosting platform's flagship event.
The keynotes covered some new features that they've been rolling out
through the year and plan to release in the near future. Long story short,

You will soon notice a "Taskcluster (pull_request)" status check showing up
in your pull requests to the servo/servo repository on GitHub, alongside
the TravisCI and Appveyor results. Taskcluster is Mozilla's solution to
replacing BuildBot, so we're evaluating it as a way to add CI features such
