I'm sorry this wasn't meant to go to the list.
The main point was that MemShared is counting the
amount of memory spared by the use of shared pages,
not the number of pages with a reference count greater
than 1 (which corresponds to the physical memory/swap
occupied by shared pages).

Update on the packages I checked:
ssh does _not_ use the libc functions when compiled with libc5.
So ssh will corrupt the utmp file if used with hamm.

Well, there really are some strange problems with the locales 2.0.4-1
package. Strangely some of the compiled locale files use the old
format, some the new one. I really cannot understand how this
happened, but it did.
