Hi Steven,

Just a reminder that sometimes there are alternate ways of making a program
accessible; these include accessing it via its own COM object model. These
are sometimes much easier than the apparently "straight forward" method.
Would you know if your problematic program has an object model?

Also, is it web browser based (if so, this usually dramatically changes the
approaches you have open to you).

Good luck,

Chip

Dear All,

I Am currently a JAWS user and have just downloaded a demo copy of Window
Eyes to test.
I Have one particular application that is a bit non-standard and tricky and
I would like to see if I can customise it with Window Eyes.
I Really need to write a script that will do the following:

1. Search for a text string on the screen and then click or double
click the left mouse button if it is found.

2. Change the highlight colour as it is non-standard.
Search for a non-standard graphic that is not labelled, label it and then
assign a hot key or write a script that will search the screen for this
graphic and left click it if it is found.

Does anyone think that this is doable please?

Many thanks in anticipation,

Steven Hicks
