-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Our beloved maintainer Sadrul Chowdhury has apparently been missing since mid-July. This was brought to my attention when it became clear that he was about to miss the deadline for submitting a final evaluation for the Google Summer-of-Code student who had been working on (and has successfully completed) scriptability support in Screen, via the Lua scripting language.
He had told the student, on July 16th, that he was going to be traveling for a few days. The student has been unable to reach him since that time, up until today. In checking logs, I see that there have been no mailing list activity, code checkins, or IRC activity from him since that time. I'm becoming concerned that something may have happened to him during his travels. I hope that if anyone has information on what may have happened to him, they will make it known. I do have him as a "friend" on FaceBook, and posted a query on his profile. He was never very active there, but I'm hoping someone who may know what has happened will see it and respond. In the meantime, it looks like Screen is again in need of a co-maintainer. I believe that I bit off more than I could chew when I accepted that responsibility previously, even though I did have exactly the level of involvement that I had said I would... but Screen honestly needs someone who can devote more time to it than I can. - -- Micah J.
