I know why it will automatically jump the back of the history. That is I set `hardstatus alwayslastline mystring'. Using the `CTRL-A [' key sequence to enter scrollback mode is a good idea. Is there other way to solve the problem, let me use the `SHIFT+PaUp' to scroll back?
