darwin ports probably use the apple patch

http://www.opensource.apple.com/darwinsource/10.5.5/screen-12/patches/

or some variation thereof that disables deflogin AFAICS, as
screen wants utmp, wheres apple has utmpx.

I believe the patch should enable login by default, but that
doesn't work for me since I switched to MacOS 10.5. ATM I compile
from git source and have my bashrc source bash_profile.
