I wanted to kick off a more public discussion of the qt status.
As an experiment, I've opened a "discussion" on github for this, on the
theory that those are a little easier to find later (I know mailing list
lives forever, but searching for specific topics leaves a little
something to be desired). I'm sure I'll hear back if people don't think
this is a good approach.
