Hello all,
I was recently introduced to SCID by another user of the Free Internet Chess
Server, and I absolutely love this software. It does pretty much everything
I could want from a chess database. That said, I have a small question that
I hope someone might be able to help me with. I spent some time looking
through the help files on the website and toying around with SCID to see if
I could figure this out, but no luck. Sorry to bother the mailing list with
this, but I was hoping someone might be able to tell me if there is a way to
strip comments/variations from multiple games at once? A quick google search
returned this forum post from many years ago:

That made it seem like this feature might be added in later versions, but I
have not been able to find such functionality. Is this not possible at
present, or am I too blind to find the option? Thanks in advance for your
