I know that everyone loves his own code, but doesn't this maybe suggest that you are on the wrong path? I still don't understand why you prefer the "game list" over the "best games": we can easily add the features that you miss to the new best games widget (BTW, had you tried it and noticed that 'most interesting' games come first?)
