I downloaded a pgn file from a recently completed rybka4-vs-stockfish-1.8 match. The PGN looks good to me but I did not study it line for line.

When I loaded the pgn file into SCID and invoked the crosstable function, here is the output I got:

Match 2
?, 2010.07.10 - 2010.07.22
Score 123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1: Rybka 4 x64 4CPU 29.0 / 48 =111001=0====1=1===1=0=10=01=1=1===1=111==0=1101 2: Stockfish 1.8 x64 4CPU 19.0 / 48 =000110=1====0=0===0=1=01=10=0=0===0=000==1=0010
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
48 games: +20 =22 -6

if you look at the total (last line of output) you see it claims 20 wins 22 draws, and 6 losses. I assume this is for the "winner" of the match, in this case Rybka4.

You assumption is wrong.

The numers tell you the results of "White" (whoever controlled the pieces).

Cheers,
Joost.

However if you look at the line of 1's and 0's and ='s you will see that the total line is incorrect. In fact, Rybka4 scored 18 wins, 22 draws, and 8 losses.

Can anyone else confirm this is a bug? I have also attached the pgn file in case that makes testing easier than finding the pgn file on the Internet.

Roy
