If you refer to ChessBase video tutorials and stuff (ie. things called 
ChessMedia) I fear this is not possible for some reasons:

- ChessBase database format is undocumented
- ChessMedia relies on WindowsMedia framework
- Both is quite tied to the Windows platform

Therefore, I fear you'll have to use the ChessBase player that comes 
with such DVDs.
