Ha ha.. it looks nice, and seems to work mostly.
I added "package require ttk::theme::tilegtk"
to start.tcl, untarred the binary package
tilegtk0.2-linux32.tar.gz
(though some will have to install from source,
which may be hard) and put tilegtk0.2 in /usr/lib
Now, it's available as an theme.

I think there's some faults with the theme though.
The Options->Chessboard->Colors widget doesn't
render some of the widgets properly, and i might have noticed issues else where 
too.
