Hi there, Since Mac OS X comes with Tcl 8.4 by default and the next release of Scid will require Tcl 8.5 (which hasn't been so easy to get working for Scid), I'm trying to embed the Tcl/Tk frameworks into the application itself. If I succeed on this task, it won't be needed to install Tcl 8.5 or compile Scid, Scid will be available as an application bundle as any other mac application.
I'm writing to the list because I built a universal app and I need some testers to confirm that it works. So, if you have a mac with Tiger or Leopard and are interested, send me an email. BTW, the source I used to build Scid is the one from the cvs (it needs Tcl 8.5), a couple of days old.
