Yes, thanks. I had to figure out how to use timeseal, but it was easy. Now I need sound, which is essential if you play 1-minute chess like I do. So I need to install Snack? I downloaded it but am not sure what to do now. Alternately, I could have got Snack when I installed Tcl? How do I know, and how do I turn it on? (I'm running in Debian, btw.)
I usually use Jin to play chess on FICS but this looks worth trying. I did play one unrated 3-minute game without sound -- draw. ==Gene --- On Sun, 10/12/08, Benoit St-Pierre <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > From: Benoit St-Pierre <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: [Scid-users] Playing online > To: "Scid" <scid-users@lists.sourceforge.net> > Date: Sunday, October 12, 2008, 5:38 PM > Hello, > > You are being connected automatically to FICS : the Free > Internet Chess Server : > > www.freechess.org > > I hope this responds to your question, > > Good luck, > > Benoit > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Scid-users mailing list Scid-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/scid-users
