Yes, thanks. I had to figure out how to use timeseal, but it was easy. Now I 
need sound, which is essential if you play 1-minute chess like I do. So I need 
to install Snack? I downloaded it but am not sure what to do now. Alternately, 
I could have got Snack when I installed Tcl? How do I know, and how do I turn 
it on? (I'm running in Debian, btw.)

I usually use Jin to play chess on FICS but this looks worth trying. I did play 
one unrated 3-minute game without sound -- draw.
