Mathieu,
you sent mail to me off-list and I responded in kind, so don't make
silly accusations. I am interested in getting my access to CVS fixed,
and anyone who can read can see. It would be far better for you just to
shut up, than to send self serving nonsense. Or, better yet, simply
state that this is not the list to ask, "but try ......, and by the way
so that we're not bothered again please tell me....". That would be
helpful to all.
I have little respect for self serving, arrogant people. Even less so
when they have to have fix spelled in capital letters in order to get
the jist of the message.
So, if you are not going to be helpful, just keep silent. I have no
time for your petty prattle.
Regards,
djh

The only question that matters to me at this point is what made you
think that a list named "[email protected]" was relevant to your
problem.
The only place where this list is advertised comes with the
description "Commits on the Savane sourcecode repositories" at
https://gna.org/mail/?group=savane
So maybe there is another place I am not aware of that provides
misleading information that would saying that this list a dedicated
to support request regarding savannah.gnu.org CVS server. If so,
I'd like to know where is this page so we can ask it to be
corrected.
Or maybe the wording "Commits on the Savane sourcecode
repositories" could be improved, I don't know.
I could surely redirect you to a more relevant place for your CVS
problem, but I actually find very doubtful that you could not find
it by yourself.
And it's always a more useful experience to get use by ourself to find
what we are looking for.
And I have to admit that I have quite a low tolerance for patronizing
tone when it comes from people I don't even know and that are
definitely not my hierarchical superiors. Before suggesting that
people may be incompetent or ignorant, before telling people to fix
things in all-caps letters, you should first make sure you actually
know who are the recipients of your messages. :)
I decided to reply to you because you were obviously mistaken on the
topic of the mailing-list you wrote to. But I guess most others
person on the list would just have kept you waiting for no answer,
ignoring your off-topic message.

received this mail where I got the address. Is it supposed to be a secret?
If you would kindly respond to the matter of concern, that of FIXING cvs

If you are not in a capacity to help or lack sufficient knoweldge in the
subject, I would appreciate it if you would kindly forwarding my request
for help to somehone who can.
