Hi,
Sorry for the first mail. I thought that I was subscribed before but I
certainly made a typo in my mail address.
I am currently using Rkhunter (1.4.2) in production servers and was
searching for something.
In addition to our monitoring, I want to disable only the check
concerning the running system logging daemon without disabling all the
system_configs test.
After seen that is not possible in the option, I have tested a patch
write by myself to do it.
It will be an option to add in the config file:
'CHECK_LOGGING_DAEMON=0 (disabled)'
or
'CHECK_LOGGING_DAEMON=1 (enabled by default)'
Disable will only skip if the system logging daemon is running without
skip check on config files.
Tell me what do you think about it (or if it's already a way to do it
that I have missed).
Thanks.
Regards,
