Look in the RKH log file (probably '/var/log/rkhunter.log'), it will
tell you which config file it is using.
I would suggest removing all other traces of old RKH versions and
installations. It will only confuse things for you.
Secondly, I would suggest (even recommend) that you leave the
default /etc/rkhunter.conf alone, and create your own 'local' config
file ('/etc/rkhunter.conf.local'). This way when you next upgrade RKH,
you do not have to modify the newly installed rkhunter.conf as all your
settings will be in your local file.
