But for the error:
bash -x rkhunter --propupd 2>/tmp/rkh.log
And then look in "/tmp/rkh.log" for "get_installdir_option" (until
"get_rootdir_option").
In my case some lines before "return" I see
RKHINSTALLDIR=/usr
(as in "/etc/rkhunter.conf": INSTALLDIR=/usr")
