The only remaining issue is that when I add the contact the number does not turn into the contact name, it adds a second item to the "conversations" tab (maybe it is called "talks" or "chats" in English). So: Right click the phone number 300 -> add contact -> put a foobar name and save Results in both 300 and foobar in the list, I would expect 300 to vanish in favor of foobar.
