Oops, so they are. (Coming from a Subversion background, I assumed
http[s] links would be browsable, or would display the project like in
Github.)
Because it is an open source project, we should display the links to
the source code prominently on the main pages of the web site, not just
in a FAQ. We should be able to find the source code through the
"Download" and "Contribute" sections of the web site.
Have you seen the "Released Sources" link in the following page?:

Yes I have seen that. That is the source code presented in another,
completely different way.
In my humble opinion, it would be much better if we could have the
different ways of getting the source code all together on one page, and
then link to that page from the "Download" and "Contribute" sections,
and perhaps from the FAQ as well, rather than having the information
scattered.
