I am currently using a US Robotics internal pci modem with no problems, RH8 picked it up. I also have a backup $14. pci modem from SAMS, brand CPU Builder, and it lists Linux compatibility.
I did not need to load any special driver for the US Robotics. I tried two others before these and neither worked, so it may be simpler to just snag the $14. modem and let Linux do the work for you rather than spend hours trying to force the issue with something less compatible. doc > From: "Gibbs, Martin D." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Would anyone have tips on how to get a modem to work in Linux?
