not 100% sure what your asking, but you can seperate the samba password file and the local unix password file and tell them not to sync to each other, thereby having user accounts only able to authenticate with samba. since they wouldn't have accounts on the unix password file they would not have access to any other services. see the documentation for smbpasswd for details on how to this. It's been a while since I seriously used samba.
