seems to do nothing...i.e. dnsdomainname returns nothing after exectuing domainname. i seem to remember some conf file somewhere in /etc where i could set NISDOMAIN='something'.
At the top of the script, add the following:
/bin/ypdomainname yourdomain.com
You can also try doing it manually first and see if 'dnsdomainname' returns anything.
